1. What’s your story? Where are you from?

Hello! So I grew up in a small city by the eastern Russia near the sea of Japan. Since childhood, I love to draw. I moved to the city of St.Petersburg, it near the Gulf of Finland. In search of the house, so as long as I like a nomad. Now I constantly traveling. I draw pictures, create illustrations. I do the design and drawing icons for projects and sites. My friend is a developer and we have projects, where I am a designer.

2. Tell us about your aesthetic.

i think it’s a combination of all the things i really like. at it’s core it’s nature based; landscapes, plants, people, animals and the interaction of all these things together. i love the color, combination of colors and generally spend a lot of time to it. my work is different and constantly changing, because i am still in searching

3. What is your favourite medium and why?

oil and brush have always been strong favourites. i also use my favorite wacom. recently i began experimenting with gouache and colored pencils, then drawing in photoshop

4. What is your artistic process like?

I find it hard to describe my artistic process. Each time it happens in different ways, sometimes in front of me are clear objectives. Most often it happens in the digital design or illustrations / icons of the sites. And I think out how to implement them, decide. Sometimes I just take my brush and paint to feel the material, color and give full freedom to your imagination and reflection. When I paint with oil, then I do not make any sketches, don`t use a pencil, I immediately start working. Or take my Wacom graphics tablet and painting in Photoshop. Most any of these processes takes place with good music, or if I’m close to the sea, near the forest, listening to the sounds of nature. Sometimes it happens that I do not finish the work, but the last time it happens rarely. I learn everything that attracts me, I rarely completely happy with the result, but I think it’s good. Sometimes I just sit back and wait until I find something in the outside world. I prefer to go with the flow. I do not force myself to draw, if I feel that something is missing. Forced labor is always insincere and does not represent anything.

5. Who and/or what inspires your work?

i think that the most inspiring thing for me this event, people, talking to people, new meetings, travel the world< impressions< feeling someone or something< the love< the hands of my good friend< nature< animals< music< tales < color and of course the work of great artists< designers and illustrators> or just the stories that impressed me

It’s always been a very big part of my life. Without a doubt it makes you notice the smaller things. I think we do not have any direct access to the deepest part of our mind except art.
